PIANO SOLOS SHEET MUSIC
Below are 9 of my piano pieces that are available in sheet music form. Most, but not all, have childhood themes. Although writing for or performing on the piano is not my main focus, I believe it is a very special instrument. Most of the pieces are somewhere in the intermediate level range.

Fantasia
Fantasia won 1st prize in the Brian Israel Composition Competition sponsored by the New York Federation of Music Clubs. It has been performed at the Bowdoin International Music Festival and at Paul Recital Hall in New York by International Chopin Piano Competition winner Ben Martin. It starts soft, reaches a climactic point and then comes back to very soft. It experiments some with juxtaposed minor and major chords which gives it an atonal feel in places but overall is a tonal work.
Lemonade
The Lemonade piano solo aims to capture the exciting childhood feeling of coming home after school on a hot day, drinking lemonade, and dreaming. People like this one, and I think it would make a charming encore piece. Download 'Lemonade' on the 'A Heartfelt Thanks' album.
Gratitude
Gratitude has streamed at the 100's of thousands mark at the moment. It's a soft, piano expression with a kind of hymn-like style blended with free form improvisation. It can almost feel Debussy like in places with dreamy and ethereal episodes. I think this can be a great encore piece in terms of presenting a color effect. Summertime Tea with Rex
This piano solo has a southern swing feel to it. There are brief moments where a pianist can take liberties and do their 'own' thing if they want to. It has a 'happy go lucky' no worries summertime attitude. Runaway Fantasy
Runaway Fantasy is showing popularity and consistent streams coming out of Europe for some reason. Perhaps it made a playlist? I think this is a good piece for an advanced piano performer because they could do it way more justice than I can. Childhood Memories
Childhood Memories has been found by TikTok rs and has been used in over 500 TikTok clips! I didn't expect that, but thank you. :) This is a lighthearted nostalgic piece describing the feelings of reminiscing one's childhood days. The Sparrow, Frog, and Dragonfly
The Sparrow, Frog, and Dragonfly is a simple children's piano solo. The sparrow comes first, then the frog, then the dragonfly. It ends with the frog hopping away into the sunset. I think this piece can be a refreshing change after a super 'serious' piece.
New Puppy!
A brand new puppy is in the house! He is going everywhere, snooping and investigating. Soon he will proclaim himself 'King of the House' and there will be nothing anyone can do about it. The New Puppy! piano track has found it's way into TikTok as a backing music clip to several hundred short videos. The sheet music is now available here. The Sandbox describes the memory of a place from early childhood -- a sandbox. Plastic buckets, dirty hands and knees, the smell of fresh earth and a sense of wonderment are all packed away in a square box of dirt.
